Hi everyone,

I pulled out ATF Temp from Toyota sensors in one of the main screens. The problem is that there are no "units" (degrees Celsius) like in other temp readings. The only place I could find reference to link ATF Temp and units was in the folder doc/hobdSensors.html file and it was in the Russian translation. I add there the same lines in the English description but no success. So two questions:

1. How can I link the Toyota ATF Temp reading with it's respective units?

2. Remembering in the past when I was using ScanGaugeII in another car it was relatively easy to pull out Horse Power (HP) insted of Engine Load. It seems to me that there is someting wrong with this reading in HOBD. For Lexus 3.0 liter it shows 20% engine load in idle??? This shouldn't be true. So is there a way to pull out HP reading if the ECU supports it?

Sorry for delay, we've replied to your first question in mail.

It seems we have invalid units description for this sensor, sorry for this. We'll fix this in next update.

Regarding your second question.

HP is normally not available from ECU, but is calculated and averaged. Hobdrive also have this data estimation, but it still in beta and may be inprecise.
EngineLoad 20% at idle is absolutely normal, most vehicles use that as a base. Thats due to some standards and OBD2 calculation procedures.

Thanks, I understand that now. On the other hand, what is the normal delay setting for EngineLoad, because mine is 10000 and I think is too much...? The display now delays a lot relative to throttle action and to make any sense must be almost in "real time".

Hmm.. where you've found such a big read delay? default hobdrive settings provide an instant read speed. For most of ELMs that means 3-5 sensors per second.

Sorry, my mistake, It says: period='10000'. I don't know what it means, but the delay on this sensor is really big relative to throttle action.

You should remove this parameter, or set it to period="500"
Then it'll speedup.
