Here is what’s new in hobDrive over the past few months:

Interface and Rendering

  • Rendering acceleration — OpenGL renderer is now the default on all platforms
  • Sensor values are displayed with an outline for better readability (can be customized or disabled)
  • DashB3: effects and filters for improved dashboard appearance
  • Improved theme settings, you can now select multiple background images per theme
  • Themes can be added via DashKits (BlueRain2 theme available as an example)
  • Fixed the “All Sensors” screen — you can now view all sensor values at once

New Features

  • Android Widgets — first implementation
  • CarPlay Support — mirrored CarPlay screen on iOS
  • Odometer correction coefficient — separate from speed, allows aligning mileage with the stock odometer readings
  • Gear indicator — choose between Roman or Arabic numerals
  • Improved sensor selection screen in settings — with search and current selected sensor display
  • GPS screen — added graphs and heading improvements

Cloud and Data

  • Configurable cloud upload frequency
  • Deletion of old data from local storage
  • Improvements to the data management screen

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Bluetooth connection
  • Fixed crashes when switching screens
  • Fixed black screen issue (zero brightness) on some head units
  • Fixed error reset buttons
  • Fixed offline license verification
